What is fodder dehydration?

Answer :
Fodder dehydration consists in artificially drying fodder in order to preserve all the initial qualities of the entire plant. Dehydration thus makes it possible to supply markets far away from fodder production sites and ensure year-round availability of quality fodder for animals.

The fodder has a humidity rate of between 45% and 70% before dehydration and the finished product has a humidity rate of between 9% and 12%. Dehydration is carried out at a high temperature (between 350º and 900º depending on the site).
