What
are the fodder's main agronomic qualities (grass/Lucerne) ?
Answer :
The plant's agronomic
qualities are exceptional, a fact no scientists dispute.
First of all,
it is a perennial crop. This means it is planted for several years
thus avoiding naked soils between crops. It is common knowledge
that naked soil encourages soil leaching.
These crops
avoid soil compacting and leaching. They do not require any, or
only very little, phytosanitary treatment due to their harvest schedule.
